Sewing is always an adventure in my house. (Because it generally involves at least one round of creative cursing in a foreign language. ;) )

I'm really not sure how I ever worked without a rotary cutter. The other thing I've found really handy is the "quilter's ruler" (I don't actually know what it's called) that I have with bias lines marked out on it. I mean, I know our ancestors sewed without these things, but I'm just not sure how!
